This is my first run at adding color. . .I had a lot of indecision about what predominant colors the monsters should be. I started out focusing on only using primary colors, but the green/orange worked the best with the child-friendly sample on the left. I like both of them for different reasons but feel the one on the left is the stronger of the two. I am noticing an odd "tongue theme" that started in the Rooster piece and has traveled to the Monster image. Note to self: stop incorporating an expressive tongue.
