Disco Dancin—Done


Here it is. I tried not to scare myself with the disco ball concept. Considering that the reference picture was taken on a dance floor, I felt it was appropriate and think that it turned out better than I originally thought. I knew I wanted the d-ball to have colors, not be too distracting, work with the heavy black on the side of his face and still play off the colors I used in the face rendering with a soft/fuzziness not used elsewhere. After I create at least one or two more samples in this style, I can use this image for self promotion.
